Filed Under (List Building) by Paul on 14-04-2009

If you want maximum conversion rates from your squeeze pages you need to ensure that your page contains the following elements:

Strong headline to capture your visitors attention quickly,

you have only a couple of seconds before they move on to the next site.

Currently red is the best converting headline colour, but you can test other colors.

A nice graphic image will help to grab the attention of your visitors.

Use bullets to list the benefits of your product you need to tell any visitor what benefits they will receive from your free product.

Strong call to action. Tell them to fill in their name and email address to receive the product free.

Include an opt-in form. Make sure this is visible when the page opens in their browser, if you are using a long page put the opt-in box near the top or put two copies of the form on the page.

Have an e-mail notice. Tell them they need to fill in their real email address to receive the link to the download.

Privacy statement saying that their details will not be sold or shared.

Having a trust seal is an easy way to increase your visitors trust immediately.

Keep the squeeze page clean, simple and uncluttered.

Use bold text only where needed, headline and bullet points.

Tweek and test your squeeze page until you are getting a good conversion rate.
